"I knew that I had some stronghold from my past. Raised in a very strict religious household, I had a very difficult time trying to separate what was my guilt and shame from the truth. Getting to be very vulnerable and pray in the presence of anointed believers was the platform that I needed to be able to get around some of those deeply rooted thoughts and to be able to give back to Jesus, what is his to bear, and be able to receive what he gave to me more fully.

"What benefited me most was Prayer, encouragement and support when I didn't feel anyone understood what I was going through with my child. My daughter is walking more with her heels (not just on her toes) without being prompted. Her understanding, curiosity, and awareness has increased tremendously!
During a recent session with her speech therapist, [my daughter] grabbed her bible and read the story of Adam and Eve (pretend reading...can't read yet) to her therapist. She didn't miss a beat.
